Simulation Engineer (m / f)
For electric traction drives

Requirements :

  • Challenging and forward-looking
  • As a driving simulation engineer (m / f) you are responsible for the model-based analysis and prediction of the behavior of electric traction drives
  • You will model and simulate the behavior of electric drives and their components (battery, inverter, motor and transmission) with regard to electrical, mechanical and thermal behavior
  • The planning, initiation and evaluation from the measurement to the validation of the simulations belong to your tasks
  • You will analyze and simulate the simulation and measurement results, present the simulation steps and results before internal and external customers and explain them
  • You will support the teams through simulation-based insights and provide suggestions for improvement
  • You will take care of the continuous improvement of the simulation models and processes

 

Your qualifications – sound and specific :

  • You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering with a Master or Dipl.-Ing. Graduated with an emphasis on electrical drive technology or the regulation of electric drives
  • You have already gained several years of experience in simulation processes and methods using Matlab / Simulin, Amesim or other comparable software tools
  • You have a good understanding of the interrelations within and between the components inverter, motor and transmission
  • You have very good Matlab / Simulink knowledge and have a good knowledge of Amesim
  • Above-average analytical and communicative abilities as well as very good German and English skills in word and writing complete your profile

 

Skill set required : Excellent understanding and hands on experience on Electric / advanced electric drives, model based analysis, Behavior prediction of electric transaction drives, Excellent knowledge of modelling and simulating the behavior, Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in planning, initiating and measuring, Excellent hands on experience on simulation processes and methods, Excellent knowledge and hands on experience on MATLAB, SIMULIN, AMESIM etc., Good hands on experience on inverter, motor and transmission, good knowledge of Embedded systems and software development etc. .
