Software Engineer / Computer Vision & Robotics (f/m)

You will work on:

  • You will play a key role in advancing the core technologies and products in the area of Indoor Mapping
  • You will work on tasks and applications in the domain of Robotics and Computer Vision
  • You will work on all kind of components running our famous mapping trolley
  • You will work on full life-cycle library and application development
  • You will make the difference

 

You have:

  • You have significant experience in C++ development and strong coding skills
  • You have a Master, PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, etc
  • You are experienced in 2D/3D correspondence problems, optimization techniques and you have previously dealt with point clouds or visual features
  • Yuo are familiar with the most common algorithms from Computer Vision
  • You have a sound knowledge of software development, preferably on Linux/Unix

 

You are:

  • Passionate about sensors and their data
  • Interested in many different topics and have a diverse set of skills
  • Willing and capable to familiarize yourself with challenging new topics and tasks
  • Fluent in English. The ability to speak German is a bonus but optional

 

We will be thrilled if you have:

  • Built or modified your own robot or drone or played around with sensor and their data
  • Experience in maintaining or contributing to open-source software, e.g. on GitHub
  • Already worked with C++ Libraries like Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, PCL or likewise
  • Experience in computer vision, robotics, sensors, 2D/3D correspondence problems, optimization techniques or GPU programming
  • A background in maintaining and deploying large software systems
