Test Engineer (m / f) Automation

Responsibility :

  • Challenging and future-oriented
  • As a test engineer (m / w), you are responsible for the commissioning and operation of the test rigs of electrical drive components (inverters and electric motors)
  • You will design automated test programs based on LabVIEW and TestStand and are responsible for fault-free data transmission between control room, test stand and test items
  • You will create user interfaces for test specimens, HV test benches and the associated measuring technology as well as the driver software for the integration of measuring instruments
  • You will work out safety and diagnostic programs for test benches and monitor test setups based on measurement technology and data flow and adjust these as required

 

Your qualifications – sound and specific :

  • You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or technical computer science
  • You already have professional experience in a comparable position and experience with the control of test benches, test items and measuring technology, ideally in the automotive environment
  • You have a profound knowledge of LabVIEW and TestStand as well as the most common networks like Ethernet, CAN and Profibus
  • Assertiveness, an independent working method as well as good German and very good English skills complete your profile

 

Skill set required : Excellent hands on experience on installation and commissioning of electric drives, Excellent hands on experience on maintenance of electric drives/ advanced electric drives, excellent knowledge and hands on experience on design automated test programs based on LabVIEW and TestStand, good hands on experience on fault-free data transmission between – control room, test stand and test items, Excellent knowledge and hands on experience on creation of user interfaces, HV test benches, measurement technology, excellent hands on experience safety and diagnostic programs for test benches, must have good knowledge and hands on experience on data flow in automotive industry, excellent knowledge and hands on experience on common networks like Ethernet, CAN and Profibus etc. .
